KKCL offers classes for all levels from beginner to advanced. Your level of English will be assessed by our tutors and you will be placed in a class at the appropriate level. Our courses cover all aspects of English language, including grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing with special emphasis on speaking, pronunciation and listening. By learning and practising English in an imaginative environment and with well-structured lessons, you will achieve greater accuracy and fluency in everyday English. These courses can be taken separately or in conjunction with our major courses. |

| BEGINNER: |
This is an introductory course for new arrivals and those with little or no previous knowledge of English. |
| ELEMENTARY: |
You will be able to understand simple instructions and participate in basic factual conversations on predictable topics. You will understand basic written information and will be able to write wimple sentences and phrases. |
| PRE-INTERMEDIATE: |
You will be able to express and understand simple opinions, instructions, and needs in a familiar context. You will understand clear and simple texts and to write texts conveying personal information. |
| INTERMEDIATE: |
You will be able to understand and express information and opinions on familiar topics, follow and engage in simple, everyday conversations. You will understand relatively complex vocabulary from context and to write on familiar topics or predictable matters. |
| UPPER INTERMEDIATE: |
You will be able to understand, discuss familiar and some specialised topics. You will also understand general information and specific details in a range of texts and genres, determining some unknown vocabulary from context. You will be able to write clear, detailed paragraphs and other texts on general knowledge topics. |
| ADVANCED |
You will be able to understand, discuss or argue familiar topics, as well as coping with less familiar ones, with moderate fluency. You will understand a range of texts and genres, especially within one’s area of experience; you will also understand unfamiliar vocabulary from context. Furthermore you will be able to write well-developed essays and texts within one’s area of experience, displaying a range of vocabulary and sentence structure. |
