  • Enrolment

The number of places on each Course is strictly limited and you are advised to return your application form as early as possible. To make a booking you should return your completed application form with a non-refundable £100 deposit to “Roxinford Education Ltd.” (trade as Katherine & King’s College of London or KKCL). If the registration is made within 30 days of the start of the course, full payment must be made immediately. The deposit cheque or bank draft should be payable to “Roxinford Education Ltd” in sterling, drawn on a London bank. The deposit should be returned with the application form, and enrolment is valid once receipt of deposit has been confirmed by us in writing. Once the full fee has been received the enrolment will be valid and students will be sent details of airport meeting arrangements.

  • Cancellation

An enrolment may be cancelled if, made one month before the start of the Course. At the discretion of Katherine & King’s College of London, a partial refund may be made in the circumstances of the student suffering sudden serious illness or accident if the student has already started the Course. Appropriate medical certificates will be required confirming the reason for cancellation. Cancellation for any other reason, excepting failure to obtain a visa, will not qualify for a refund of any sort.                                               

  • Visas

Visas may be required. We will be happy to provide a letter of acceptance to assist the student in obtaining a visa. Where a visa application fails, all payments will be refunded in full (except the non-refundable deposit).

  • Insurance

Katherine & King’s College of London do not insure the student against illness, accident or theft or loss of personal possessions. Students are strongly advised to have insurance cover against cancellation, loss of personal possessions and money and against personal accident, however caused. We will be happy to provide details of UK student insurers.

  • Liability

It shall be the condition of the contract between Katherine & King’s College of London and the student that KKCL shall not in any way be liable to the student in the event that any service contracted to be supplied by KKCL becomes impossible to supply due to reasons outside our control.

  • Personal Possession

We do not recommend students to bring any valuable belongings to the camp. We do not take responsibility for lost or stolen items.

  • Promotion Materials

Katherine & King’s College of London may wish to use photographs or video images of students on the course for future promotional purposes. If parents do not wish to permit this for their children they should write to the Course Director to that effect before the start of the course.

  • Course Regulations

1. Students will be subject to the Course rules. In particular, they will be expected to attend all meals, lessons and arranged activities and excursions.

2. Students will be responsible for keeping their own rooms tidy.

3. All damages to property, equipment and rooms will be charged to the students.

4. Consumption of alcohol by students is not permitted (Note: it is against the law in Britain for persons under the age of 18 to purchase alcohol). Alcohol must not be brought into the School premises by students of any age.

5. Drug-taking or suspicion of drug-taking of any kind will result in immediate dismissal.

6. Smoking is not permitted in school premises at any time.

7. Girls and boys may only mix in the recreation areas of the Houses and may not enter each other’s bedrooms or other designated areas.

8. Students will be required to be in their rooms and to maintain silence at a certain time prescribed by the Course Director.

9. Bullying will not be tolerated and may, at the discretion of the Course Director, result in expulsion from the course.

10. Students will be expected to show courtesy to all course staff and domestic staff and to behave in a civilized manner on and off the campus.

STUDENTS BREAKING ANY OF THE RULES OF THE COURSE THEY ARE ATTENDING MAY BE DISMISSED WITHIN 24 HOURS AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE AND WITHOUT REFUND.
