Welcome

CBE centre

Katherine & King's College of London is ACCA Computer-Based Exam centre for the following papers:

  ACCA Papers F1, F2 and F3 only
  CAT Introductory Level (T1 & T2) and intermediate Level (T3 & T4)

CBE gives flexibility around the dates and times that you can take the exams. Rather than the conventional sittings in June and December, KKCL will be offering around 8 exam dates every month. Please see the CBE admission section. ACCA registration deadlines do not apply for students who elect to sit computer-based exam. CBE can be taken at any time of the year although students require their ACCA student registration number before they can sit the exam.

We can apply for registration on behalf of our Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) students. For students who wish to sit paper-based examinations in the coming session, they can take CBE without prior registration with ACCA. However, the registration extension will only be granted prior to the ACCA registration extended closing date.

We can also apply for exemptions on behalf of our Professional Scheme Students outwith the published deadlines. We can claim CBE passes on behalf of CBE students for the next examination session. However, the exemption extension will only be granted prior to the ACCA exemption extended closing date. Students wanting to take CBE have to be registered as students by ACCA and have an ACCA student photo card. There are no registration deadlines as such. You simply need to make sure that you allow at least 1 week for your exam registration application to be processed.

The exams are two hours long for both Professional Scheme exam and CAT exam. The exams will be administered using an online facility. Many questions involve numerical data input where you type in the answer to your calculations, and some questions are multiple choice.
