I am an English teacher here. I believe that teaching makes a difference in someone's life as we all know that knowledge opens the doors. London is the city of cultural diversity, the place where many people from different countries come to visit, live, work or study.
To be honest I would say that teaching is a huge challenge, not just because the process of learning is usually of extreme importance for students but also because a teacher is usually a link to the hearts and minds of students.

Mari
Hi ! I am Mari and I have been teaching English for almost 7 years. But it didn’t take that long to realise that the best way to learn a language is to play with the words, to have fun with the language and then the language will become a friend. When being asked what their most memorable experiences are, people usually mention things like- going out, going to the seaside or to theme parks, why? Because they enjoyed themselves and they had fun!
So come and make this experience a memorable one! It will be fun and you will learn a lot at the same time! |
Karolina
Hi, there, my name is Karolina. I am a self motivated, approachable individual with sense of humour and smiley disposition. I came to England four years ago and went to beautiful, picturesque and magic city of Geoffrey Chaucer. I fell in love with historical Canterbury and stayed there for two years working as a personal assistant to commercial director trying to put my business skills into practice.
However, my teaching vocation was calling and after two years in fabulous Kent I came to cosmopolitan and vibrant London to teach English as a foreign language. Over three years of teaching, I have realised that this is where I would like to spend my professional life.I greatly enjoy seeing my students’ progress and interacting with people from diverse nationalities and backgrounds which I feel makes us all here more well-rounded people.

As a chartered accountant, my approach toward lecturing is to make it as interesting and as interactive as possible. It is important to involve students so I frequently ask questions and constantly get them to ask questions of me. We do class exercises and maximise our learning from “doing” as well as listening.
I take a positive and encouraging approach to lecturing. I hope my students see me as a good source of knowledge and also someone who can deliver that knowledge in an engaging way. I also hope that students feel that I am reassuring and encouraging about them as people and prospective accountants.
